Primary profile of dogs from Toledo Rescue Mission: Boston is one of the 6 dogs rescued from a perrera in inland Spain, that is closing and all of their 80 dogs, kept in terrible conditions, have to be evacuated. Boston used to be called Nr. 23, but that is now all behind him - he is now a member of Triple A Marbella family, and on his way to recovery from the past of neglect and misery, slowly staying behind him. Though his face expressions seem like sudden thrust of happiness as he escaped one prison, the reality is that there is a lot of silent sadness and a lot of stress inside of baby Boston. He does not yet fully enjoy the dog parks, or the first small walks, or the attention of caretakers - though he shows desire for all these, he remains tense throughout. He does enjoy boiled chicken and his sniffing carpet though! A few hours of fresh air, snacks and good food, do not yet erase years and years of unprocessed trauma... It will take much more time. At the moment Boston is slightly touch sensitive and in need of guidance to express his surpressed emotions. All donations and sponsorships are welcome as we collect funds for Baby Boston to enter receive (alternative) therapeutic help from professionals. He is not yet available for adoption to a "normal home" in this moment, however he would very much benefit from a "training home".
